Trousers crafted from an original bonded fabric developed by KHOKI. Bonded fabric is created by weaving two separate fabrics together into a single material, resulting in a distinctive textile that combines the characteristics of each fabric. For this piece, a striped summer wool and a solid wool fabric were bonded together, preserving the lightweight and dressy qualities of summer wool while creating a firm texture with a soft, elastic hand feel.
To achieve the cocoon silhouette, large tucks were placed along the sides. The natural structure and firmness of the bonded fabric emphasize these tuck details, giving the piece a rich expression despite its minimal appearance. In addition, the raw-cut details at the waistband and pocket openings create a contrast against the clean fabric and sculptural silhouette, serving as subtle accents within the design.
KHOKIがオリジナルで制作した接結生地で仕立てたパンツ。二枚の生地を織り合わせて一つの生地に仕立てる接結生地は、それぞれの素材の特徴を兼ね備えた、独特な風合いを持つ生地です。今回は、ストライプのサマーウールと無地のウールを接結することで、サマーウール特有の軽やかさやドレッシーな風合いを残しながら、ハリ感ともっちりとした伸縮性のある手触りを生み出しています。シルエットはコクーンシルエットを表現するため、脇に大きなタックを施しました。接結生地特有のハリ感によってタックのディテールが際立ち、シンプルながらも豊かな表情を持つアイテムに仕上がっています。また、ウエストやポケット口に施した切りっぱなしのディテールが、生地やシルエットのミニマルな印 象と対比を生み、デザインのアクセントとなっています。
